Welcome! We are Matthew and Mirte, and we are Addicted To The World. Two Dutch adventurers with a passion for traveling, discovering cultures, and gaining new experiences. To us, traveling means getting to know yourself and the world around you a little better. While traveling, we love to connect with the local population to gain a deeper understanding of the country we're in.

Mirte
While traveling, I enjoy connecting with the local population. I graduated as a youth and family worker, and during my travels, I find it fascinating to learn more about the families residing in different places. In Tanzania, I volunteered for three months with special needs children. I had an unforgettable time there, and Africa and Tanzania hold a special place in my heart.
Matthew
After several vacations in Spain, I fell in love with the Spanish language and had one goal in mind: to travel to Latin America and discover the culture and local way of life there. After exploring Colombia and Mexico, my wanderlust was in full swing, and I wanted to experience more adventures and see the whole world! I have a deep interest in different languages and cultures and how people's customs and choices are influenced by the region where they grow up.
