Vancouver offers many great places to stay, such as Coal Harbour, with its stunning views of the mountains and water. Other popular areas include Downtown Vancouver, the trendy Yaletown district, and the historic Gastown neighborhood. However, staying in these areas can be quite expensive. That's why we chose to stay at the Three Kittens Guesthouse in Burnaby. One of the advantages of a guesthouse is having access to a kitchen, allowing you to prepare your own meals. From Burnaby, you can reach Downtown Vancouver in 30 to 60 minutes by public transportation.
The easiest way to get around is by car, as Vancouver is a large city and some highlights require a bit of driving. Public transportation, however, is well-organized in Vancouver through the Translink network. You can pay with your credit card or purchase various passes that are valid for a set period. For more information about these options, visit the Translink website. Another option is to take an Uber, though this can be quite expensive.
